As a first-time mother over 40, I faced profound challenges I never expected. From the overwhelming changes to my body, balancing a demanding career, and navigating the emotional shift into motherhood, I found myself struggling to maintain a sense of self.
I realised there wasn't enough support for women like me – mothers who want to embrace the joy of motherhood while also caring for their own well-being, both physically and emotionally.
After the birth of my son, at 42 years old I felt isolated, unsure how to manage the new demands of motherhood while maintaining my professional identity and personal happiness. Through trial, reflection, and creating practical strategies, I was able to regain balance, confidence, and a sense of calm.
This experience led me to develop programmes to help other first-time moms facing similar challenges – those who want to thrive not just as mothers, but as women.
I now dedicate myself to guiding women like me, providing the support, tools, and community that I wished I had during my own journey. Together, we can navigate this beautiful, challenging path and blossom both in motherhood and in life.
